Young Frankenstein
We saw Young Frankenstein at the Beck Center on Friday with some friends from out of town. That was truly fun! Absolutely hilarious! It's an adaptation/elaboration of the 1974 film featuring Gene Wilder and directed by Mel Brooks.
It's definitely a show for teens and above. There's a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle innuendo, as well as excellent comedic timing and slapstick. Two numbers that stick out in my mind are Putting on the Ritz and Roll in the Hay. The Beck Center did a great job on this one! Go see it!

Birthday Cupcakes for Steve
Steve and I went to Main Street Cupcakes to get his free birthday cupcake! These cupcakes are truly creative and flavor packed. The store has the largest flavor selection that I've ever seen, over 230 different varieties. We find something new to try each time that we go.
The pink one is Bubble Gum. The girl at the store described it as fruit punch flavored cake and frosting.
This one is Mimosa. I've never tried this one before.
Steve picked out the Watermelon cupcake for his free birthday cupcake.
To round our our selection, we selected Chocolate Strawberries and Champagne. We've had the Strawberries and Champagne and the Berries and Champagne, but this is the first time we're trying this flavor. We needed something with chocolate.
